Ms. Redlisky is a partner at the firm, concentrating in elder law, including contested guardianships, appeals, Medicaid planning, and estate administration. She routinely is appointed by the Court to serve as Court Evaluator, Guardian and Counsel to the Alleged Incapacitated Person in complex litigated matters involving turnover proceedings and surcharge hearings. She has lectured on behalf of various bar associations to provide certification training for guardians required under Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge. Ms. Redlisky is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Elder Law and Special Needs Section (ELSN), Co-Vice Chair of the Community Outreach sub-committee for the ELSN Committee on Long Term Care Facility, where she advocates for nursing home resident’s rights. She was selected to contribute her article, Elder Law Counseling Post COVID-19: A Practical Approach, for NYSBA’s first in the nation book entitled Virtual Lawyering: A Practical Guide on how lawyering has been affected by the pandemic. She also co-authors, “Tales from the Trenches” for the ELSN Journal wherein she provides practical advice to the bar based upon her 28 years of experience. Ms. Redlisky also an active member of the Executive Committee of NYSBA’s Women in the Law Section, serving as its Secretary. She is the Chair of the Sponsorship Committee and a member of the Equity in the Law Profession subcommittee. Ms. Redlisky is a graduate of the Albany School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1992, with a partial scholarship awarded for moot court. Ms. Redlisky attended the State University of New York at Binghamton, where she graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 1989.
